Unnat Bharat Abhiyan aims to connect institutions of higher education with rural communities to address key developmental challenges through knowledge and technology-driven initiatives. In college campuses, this can be implemented by conducting village surveys to identify local needs in areas such as education, health, sanitation, digital literacy, and sustainable livelihoods. Students and faculty can engage in planning and executing practical, low-cost solutions tailored to village contexts, such as promoting eco-friendly practices, awareness campaigns, and basic skill development workshops. The program encourages active participation in rural development projects, thereby fostering social responsibility, experiential learning, and a deeper understanding of grassroots realities among students.
