State Library Council Affiliated to Rural Public Library

The college library is dedicated in promoting inclusive access to knowledge and nurturing a strong reading culture among students and the surrounding rural community. It conducts book exhibitions, reading hours, and orientation sessions to encourage regular reading habits. The library offers a wide range of academic, competitive, and general resources, including multilingual books and digital materials. To enhance digital literacy, it organizes workshops on the effective use of e-books, online databases, and open educational resources. The library supports research and academic work by providing access to reference tools and study materials. It also hosts literary celebrations like National Library Week and World Book Day through essay writing, debates, and interactive sessions with authors. Special attention is given to promoting women’s education and lifelong learning through inclusive and empowering reading initiatives.
