The Jeevani Centre for Student Wellbeing, Sree Narayana College for Women, Kollam, organised “Jeevani: Your Space to Breathe Free – Freshers Connect 2026”, an FYUGP Orientation Session for first-year students on 6th July 2026 at the College Auditorium.
The programme was inaugurated by Principal Mrs. Nisha V. S., who welcomed the students and highlighted the importance of having trusted people to rely on, sharing an inspiring story from the life of author Sudha Murty.
The session was led by Mrs. Amala Sharol Lopez, Jeevani Psychologist, and included engaging activities such as Strength Companion, Chocolate Question, Self-Reflection, Guided Manifestation, and Mindfulness. Students also participated in an interactive discussion on confidence, positive body language, and the role of the Jeevani Centre in promoting emotional well-being and creating a safe, supportive space on campus.
The programme concluded with the Ripple Effect Activity, where students joined hands and affirmed that Sree Narayana College for Women is their new home, expressing their readiness to learn, grow, and embrace their journey of becoming.
