The Department of Hindi, Sree Narayana College for Women, Kollam, is organising Hindi Fortnight Celebration 2026 from 14 September to 25 September 2026, with the support of Aman Prakashan, Kanpur, and Rajesh Finance & Run Bond Club, Kollam.

The celebration includes an inaugural session, invited talks, literary and cultural competitions, a valedictory function, and a cultural presentation on Theyyam.

• 16 September, 10:00 AM: Invited talk by Ms Aasa P.M., Junior Translation Officer, NIT Calicut, on Hindi in the Artificial Intelligence Regime: Emerging Possibilities and Challenges in Language Technology, Translation and Employment
• 17 September: Session with Prof. Dr S.R. Jayasree and Dr Anamika Anu, Hindi writer and translator
• 22 September: Hindi Film Song Competition (10:00 AM–12:00 noon) and Poster-Making Competition (2:00–3:00 PM)
• 23 September: Hindi Recitation Competition (2:00–3:00 PM)
• 24 September: Cultural Programme (1:00–3:00 PM)
• 25 September: Valedictory Function, Seminar Hall, 9:30–11:00 AM

A Theyyam-based cultural presentation will be held on 25 September 2026 from 11:30 AM onwards at the Open-Air Auditorium, inaugurated by Shri N. K. Premachandran, Member of Parliament.
