The World Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was observed in a befitting manner on our campus on 25th June 2026.

The Jeevani Centre for Student Wellbeing, in association with the Department of Economics, observed the World Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 25th June 2026.

The Principal of our college, Smt. Nisha V. S., addressed the students on the importance of a drug-free society. A short reel on drug abuse was also released. This was followed by the students taking an Anti-Drug Pledge.

Smt. Prabhavathi, Head of the Department of Economics, extended her support and graced the occasion with her esteemed presence, along with the faculty members of the department, contributing to the success of the programme.

A Poster Making Competition was held on the theme:

“Beyond Addiction: Crafting Connections, Choosing Life.”

Students from various departments participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and creativity, presenting thought-provoking posters that effectively conveyed messages of awareness, prevention, and hope for a drug-free society.
