The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) aims to integrate the rich and diverse heritage of India’s traditional wisdom into modern education. Its objective is to foster a holistic understanding of knowledge by combining ancient Indian sciences, arts, culture, languages, and philosophy with contemporary learning methods. Implementing IKS in our campus will help students appreciate India’s intellectual traditions, promote interdisciplinary thinking, and instill values rooted in sustainability and ethics. To achieve this, we plan to organize a series of activity-based programs such as workshops on Ayurveda and Yoga, seminars on Indian mathematics and astronomy, storytelling sessions rooted in Indian epics, and exhibitions on ancient technologies and crafts. These activities will encourage experiential learning, spark curiosity, and connect students with India’s cultural legacy while enhancing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a modern context.
