The NSS unit actively promotes a sense of social responsibility and community engagement through a variety of impactful initiatives. Regular village visits, awareness drives, and community surveys help students connect with local populations and understand grassroots challenges. Cleanliness drives, health camps, and civic awareness programs foster a spirit of public service. Students are encouraged to develop problem-solving skills by identifying local issues and planning small-scale solutions, such as waste management and water conservation projects. Leadership development is emphasized through the appointment of student coordinators and the organization of leadership and teamwork workshops. Activities that promote national integration, including the celebration of national days, cultural exchange programs, and inter-state youth camps, are regularly conducted. To enhance disaster preparedness, students receive training in first aid, emergency response, and disaster management. Participation in manual work, campus maintenance, and discipline-focused tasks helps instill character and responsibility. Additionally, academic projects are aligned with community needs to strengthen the campus–community link, fostering service-learning and real-world application of classroom knowledge.
