Performing Arts and Folklore

The cultural club actively works to preserve and promote traditional and folk arts by organizing workshops and performances featuring Kerala’s classical and folk forms such as Kathakali, Mohiniyattam, Theyyam, and Oppana. It encourages student creativity through inter-department competitions, open mic events, and fusion performances that blend tradition with contemporary styles. Cultural heritage is celebrated by observing festivals like Onam and Navaratri with vibrant performances, exhibitions, and storytelling sessions. A dedicated cultural team is trained and mentored to represent the college at youth festivals and intercollegiate competitions. Through its diverse activities, the club also fosters life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and confidence by assigning students roles in event organization, anchoring, and coordination.
