The Young Innovators Program coordinating unit in the college works to transform student ideas into impactful solutions by fostering a culture of innovation and creative thinking. It organizes ideation workshops, innovation challenges, and brainstorming sessions to help students identify and address real-world problems. The unit supports student-led projects by providing mentorship, technical guidance, and access to labs or prototype development facilities. It facilitates participation in innovation competitions at institutional, state, and national levels, including the Young Innovators Program. Expert talks, mentoring sessions, and interactions with entrepreneurs and alumni are conducted to offer practical insights and guidance. The unit also promotes interdisciplinary collaboration by encouraging students from various departments to work together on innovation-based projects. Additionally, it connects students with funding agencies, startup incubators, and government schemes to help scale their ideas. To celebrate and showcase student talent, the unit organizes expos, demo days, and project presentations that bring visibility and feedback to their innovations.
